Senior Partner
For more than three decades, Dan Mueller has helped individuals and businesses navigate complex legal and financial problems. At Harborstone Law, he focuses on civil litigation strategy, business and financial disputes, and debt defense and settlement.
Dan has wide-ranging experience in large-scale civil and commercial litigation, including commercial disputes, government debt disputes, real property and construction litigation, trademark defense, and complex personal injury. That background gives him a working knowledge of how disputes actually unfold, what drives outcomes, where the risks hide, and which options deserve serious consideration.
Today, Dan puts that knowledge to work as a trusted legal advisor, helping clients understand where they stand, weigh their choices, and move forward with a clear strategy. Whether they are dealing with a debt dispute, evaluating legal strategies, or protecting a business or brand, clients and fellow attorneys value his candid, practical guidance, shaped by decades of experience.

Managing Partner
Paul Midzak heads Harborstone Law's civil litigation and financial law practice, with civil litigation at the core of his work. Paul's practice areas include business disputes, real property litigation, debt litigation, government debt disputes (including SBA loan defaults), and trademark defense. He also advises U.S. and overseas businesses on corporate, general business, regulatory, real estate, and intellectual property issues, which allows him to address both the legal and business dimensions of a dispute.
